WINNIPEG, MB., July 12, 2022 – The Canadian Football League today announced that quarterback Zach Collaros and wide receiver Dalton Schoen have been named CFL Top Performers for their work in Saturday’s 43-22 win over the B.C. Lions.
The CFL’s reigning MOP finished 23-of-30 for 288 yards with two TD strikes to Schoen and a third to Greg Ellingson as the offence racked up 419 yards, including 141 along the ground. Over the last two games in a span of five days, Collaros was good on 48-of-61 – a 78.7 completion percentage – for 503 yards with four touchdowns and one interception.
Schoen recorded career-high catches (eight) and yards (117) in a two-touchdown performance. Saturday also marked Schoen’s first 100-yard game of his pro career.
Currently sitting in first place with a record of 5-0, the Blue Bombers will return home to take on the also-undefeated Calgary Stampeders on July 15th. Tickets can be purchased here or by calling 204-784-7448.
