WINNIPEG, MB., July 10, 2018 – The Canadian Football League announced Tuesday that linebacker Adam Bighill has been named a Shaw CFL Top Performer for his showing in last week’s win against the BC Lions.
Bighill had two interceptions in Saturday’s game (he returned one 55 yards for a touchdown), leading to 14 points. The pick-six marked his first CFL touchdown in his first game against his former team. Bighill also lead the team in tackles in Saturday’s win with six, including one tackle for a loss.
Bighill his now tied for the league lead in interceptions with Derico Murray of Ottawa at two, and is second in defensive tackles at 27 behind Chris Ackie of Montreal (30).
