Clark joined the Bombers in 2000, just as the fortunes of the team were changing for the better and his fingerprints were all over that transformation. A product of Hofstra University, Clark spent the 1997 and 1998 seasons with the Montreal Alouettes before singing with the San Diego Chargers. He became a mainstay in the emerging force that was the Bombers defence at the start of the millennium, leading the team in tackles in 2003 and being named to the CFL Players’ Association All-East Team in 2001. He left for the Calgary Stampeders in 2004 and gave that organization another four years of solid play before retiring in 2007.
Pierre Guindon was the Bombers first-round draft pick in 1968, 3rd overall, after a solid career at the University of Ottawa. He played both centre and guard and also handled the placekicking chores and led the Bombers in scoring in both 1968 and 1969. He was inducted into the Glengarry (Ontario) Sports Hall of Fame in 1995.
