WINNIPEG, MB – Winnipeg Blue Bombers defensive end Jamaal Westerman has been named a 2015 CFL All-Star, the CFL announced today. The All-Stars were selected by the Football Reporters of Canada (FRC) and the league’s head coaches. This is the 53rd year in which the CFL has named an All-Star team in recognition of the season’s best performers.
Westerman finished second in the league with 17 quarterback sacks, while also tallying 61 defensive tackles, playing in all 18 games. He was also the club’s nomination for Most Outstanding Player, and Most Outstanding Defensive Player, while also being named the West Division’s Most Outstanding Canadian.
